Verantwortlich für die Erhebung, Verarbeitung und Nutzung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten im Rahmen der Veranstaltung ist:

2. Erhebung und Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten

2.1.

Im Rahmen der Anmeldung und Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung erheben wir folgende personenbezogene Daten:

Vorname, Nachname
Geburtsdatum
Adresse
E-Mail-Adresse
Telefonnummer
Angaben zur Teilnahme (z. B. Einzelteilnahme)
Zahlungsmethoden und Zahlungsinformationen zur Anmeldegebühr
GPS-Daten (für den Nachweis des Rennens)
Foto(s) zum Nachweis des GPS-Punkts und der Umkehrstelle
Weitere freiwillige Angaben, die im Rahmen der Kommunikation oder der Veranstaltung erforderlich sind

2.2.

Diese Daten werden ausschließlich für die Organisation, Durchführung und Nachbereitung der Veranstaltung verwendet.

2.3.

Die GPS-Daten und Fotos der Teilnehmer*innen werden ausschließlich zur Dokumentation der individuellen Rennleistung sowie zur Ermittlung der Rennergebnisse verwendet. Die GPS-Daten dienen dabei dem Nachweis der absolvierten Strecke und des festgelegten „Point of Return“.

3. Zweck der Verarbeitung

3.1.

Die erhobenen personenbezogenen Daten werden ausschließlich zum Zweck der Organisation, Durchführung und Nachbereitung der Veranstaltung verarbeitet. Dies umfasst insbesondere:

die Verwaltung und Organisation der Veranstaltung (z. B. Anmeldung, Startlisten, Ergebnislisten sowie Kommunikation mit den Teilnehmer*innen),
die Durchführung des Rennens und der damit verbundenen Aktivitäten,
die Verarbeitung von GPS-Daten und Fotos zum Nachweis der absolvierten Strecke sowie des festgelegten „Point of Return“,
die Veröffentlichung von Ergebnissen sowie Foto- und Videoaufnahmen im Rahmen der Veranstaltung (mit entsprechender Einwilligung der Teilnehmer*innen),
die Kommunikation im Zusammenhang mit der Veranstaltung (z. B. Anmeldebestätigung sowie Informationen vor, während und nach dem Rennen),
die Abwicklung von Zahlungen und gegebenenfalls Rückerstattungen,
die Erfüllung gesetzlicher Verpflichtungen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit Haftungs- und Nachweispflichten.

4. Weitergabe personenbezogener Daten

4.1.

Eine Weitergabe Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten an Dritte erfolgt nur, wenn dies für die Durchführung der Veranstaltung erforderlich ist oder wir gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet sind. Beispielsweise werden Ihre Daten an Partner für die Zahlungsabwicklung oder an öffentliche Stellen zur Erfüllung gesetzlicher Anforderungen weitergegeben.

4.2.

Eine Weitergabe an Sponsoren oder Werbepartner erfolgt nur mit Ihrer ausdrücklichen Zustimmung, z. B. im Rahmen von Fotorechten oder für spezielle Angebote.

5. Speicherung und Aufbewahrung Ihrer Daten

5.1.

Ihre personenbezogenen Daten werden nur so lange gespeichert, wie dies für die Durchführung der Veranstaltung, die Erstellung der Ergebnislisten sowie zur Erfüllung gesetzlicher Aufbewahrungspflichten erforderlich ist. Anschließend werden die Daten gelöscht, sofern keine gesetzlichen oder berechtigten Gründe für eine weitere Speicherung bestehen.

6. Rechte der betroffenen Personen

6.1.

Sie haben das Recht, jederzeit Auskunft über Ihre gespeicherten personenbezogenen Daten zu verlangen.

6.2.

Sie können jederzeit die Berichtigung oder Löschung Ihrer Daten verlangen, sofern keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.

6.3.

Sie können der Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten jederzeit widersprechen, insbesondere wenn die Verarbeitung auf berechtigten Interessen beruht.

6.4.

Wenn Sie der Meinung sind, dass Ihre Datenschutzrechte verletzt wurden, haben Sie das Recht, sich bei der zuständigen Datenschutzbehörde zu beschweren.

7. Verwendung von Fotos und Ergebnissen

7.1.

Mit der Anmeldung zur Veranstaltung erklären Sie sich einverstanden, dass Ihr Name, Ihre Ergebnisse sowie Fotos und Videos, die während der Veranstaltung entstehen, auf der Website des Veranstalters (www.pointofreturn.de), in sozialen Medien (z. B. Instagram) sowie in weiteren veranstaltungsbezogenen Kommunikationskanälen veröffentlicht werden dürfen.

7.2.

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung können Ergebnislisten mit Namen, Platzierungen, Distanzen und Zeiten der Teilnehmer*innen veröffentlicht werden. Die Veröffentlichung erfolgt insbesondere über die Website des Veranstalters sowie über soziale Medien und dient der Dokumentation und Kommunikation der Veranstaltung.

7.3.

Die Einwilligung zur Veröffentlichung von Fotos und Videos ist freiwillig und kann jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen werden. Ein formloser Widerruf per E-Mail an pointofreturn@posteo.de ist ausreichend.

8. Sicherheit Ihrer Daten

8.1.

Wir setzen technische und organisatorische Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ein, um Ihre Daten vor Verlust, Missbrauch oder unbefugtem Zugriff zu schützen. Dazu gehören unter anderem die Verschlüsselung von Übertragungen und die Sicherstellung der Zugriffskontrollen auf unsere Systeme über Wix.

Participation details (e.g. individual participation)
Payment methods and payment information for the registration fee
GPS data (to verify the race)
Photo(s) to verify the GPS checkpoint and turnaround point
Additional voluntary information required as part of communication or the event

2.2.

This data is used exclusively for the organization, execution, and follow-up of the event.

2.3.

Participants’ GPS data and photos are used solely to document individual race performance and determine race results. GPS data serves as proof of the completed route and the designated “Point of Return.”

3. Purpose of Processing

3.1.

The collected personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of organizing, conducting, and following up on the event. This includes in particular:

the administration and organization of the event (e.g. registration, start lists, result lists, and communication with participants),
conducting the race and related activities,
processing GPS data and photos to verify the completed route and the designated “Point of Return”,
publication of results as well as photos and video recordings related to the event (with the corresponding consent of participants),
communication related to the event (e.g. registration confirmation and information before, during, and after the race),
processing payments and possible refunds,
compliance with legal obligations, particularly regarding liability and verification requirements.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

4.1.

Your personal data will only be shared with third parties if necessary for the execution of the event or if we are legally required to do so. For example, your data may be shared with payment processing partners or public authorities to fulfill legal requirements.

4.2.

Data will only be shared with sponsors or advertising partners with your explicit consent, e.g. in connection with photo rights or special offers.

5. Storage and Retention of Your Data

5.1.

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary for the execution of the event, the creation of result lists, and compliance with legal retention obligations. Afterwards, the data will be deleted unless legal or legitimate reasons require further storage.

You may request the correction or deletion of your data at any time, provided no legal retention obligations apply.

6.3.

7. Use of Photos and Results

7.1.

By registering for the event, you agree that your name, results, as well as photos and videos created during the event may be published on the organizer’s website (www.pointofreturn.de), on social media (e.g. Instagram), and through other event-related communication channels.

7.2.

As part of the event, result lists containing participants’ names, rankings, distances, and times may be published. Publication takes place in particular via the organizer’s website and social media channels and serves the documentation and communication of the event.

7.3.

Consent to the publication of photos and videos is voluntary and may be revoked at any time with future effect. An informal revocation by email to pointofreturn@posteo.de is sufficient.

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. These include, among other things, encrypted data transmission and access controls for our systems via Wix.
