  • GPS data (as proof of race performance)

  • Photo(s) as evidence of the GPS point and turnaround point

  • Additional voluntary information provided during communication or the event

2.2. This data is used exclusively for the organization, execution, and post-processing of the event. 2.3. The GPS data and photos of participants are used solely to document individual race performance and to determine the race results. The GPS data serves as proof of the distance covered and the defined “Point of Return.”

  • Management and organization of the event (e.g., registration, results lists, communication with participants)

  • Execution of the race and associated activities

  • Publication of results, photos, and videos (with participant consent)

  • Handling payments and refunds

  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., liability waiver, confirmation of participation)

By registering for the event, you consent to the publication of your name, race results, as well as photos and videos taken during the event on the organizer's website, social media channels, and other forms of public communication. 7.2. Consent to the publication of photos and videos is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with future effect. A simple email to pointofreturn@posteo.de is sufficient to withdraw your consent.

8.1. We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. This includes, for example, encrypted transmissions and strict access controls to our systems.
